Vintage pair is hand crafted of transparent blown glass in Fayetteville, Arkansas & hand signed "Leo Ward" with 1997 / 1998 on the base. Leo Ward (1927-2017) was orphaned as a young child, yet grew to serve his country during the Korean conflict, earn college degrees in both biology & English, teach & inspire, father a family, author poetry & novels - & start Terra Studios with his wife, Rita. The first small glass bluebird was created in 1982... & the rest is history! These colorful & happy little birds would make a nice gift to a loved one!
