Here is a beautiful antique Arts & Crafts box, probably from the 1910s. This amazing round Art & Crafts medium sized box made from thin wood with hammered pewter overlay. The pewter depicts a wonderful ship or galleon boat sailing on the sea as seen in the photos. Wonderful little opal effect cabochon at the front as the moon, with four further matching cabochons around the edge. The lid sit on & pulls off securely, inside has just one compartment as shown in the ninth photo. It is in good condition for its age does have some light marks & wear, it is handmade so not perfect, a little piece of wood has chipped off to the inner edge (seen in the last photo) but this is not noticeable when the lid is on, a truly a beautiful box.
