Description
This asymmetric hat has an unusual swooping point very evocative of early to mid 80s headwear. The wool felt is a 'natural' off-white & is hand blocked over a mould. It's trimmed with 4 small black buttons on each side, & a red stripe of felt, inspired by Blitz Kids outfits from 1980. It's finished underneath with traditional millinery petersham ribbon & is discretely wired inside to keep its shape. The hat comes with a black hat elastic, which sits under your hair at the nape of the neck to keep it in place. Many other elastic colours are available to match your hair colour - please message me or leave a note when ordering. The inside measures 46.5cm, however because it perches it will fit most heads. It measures approx 18cm left to right, & 18cm front to back & the point sits about 6cm high off the head. This piece is entirely handmade & is unique - you won't find it anywhere else!
