Your attention is presented to a very rare & unique sample of traditionally woven tablecloths made at the beginning of the last century.This tablecloth I was lucky to find in the Romanian family, which now resides in Ukraine in that part of Transcarpathia, which belonged to Romania before World War II. They are considered part of their charm. This unique tablecloth is woven with an amazingly strong, beautiful, bulk geometric pattern in its texture. The technique used to make these fabrics with motifs that stand out in reliefs is one of the oldest & most complex methods of weaving, called thread weaving. Quite dense and, despite the age, without holes & rubs. The harvest is in good condition. MEASURES: (94 cm x 55 cm) These homespun towels are a organic bath towels.
