WHITE OWL Covered Dish...On Log Atop Stone dish...2 Piece Vintage Set. This adorable covered dish features a beautiful snowy owl with yellow eyes & beak perched atop a tree log. He is very detailed! He serves as the handle to open & close the lid that fits perfectly on the base. The lid is also decorated with stones & moss, the same pattern that is on the base. It is made of glazed ceramic & seems to be old but I don't know the exact age because there is no maker's mark. It is in very good condition. There are very small chips inside the rim of the lid. A few small flea bites on the owl. The perfect gift for the owl lover in your life! I have never seen another one like it! Measures 3" x 4 1/2". It can hold jewelry or other small treasures. All of my items ship from a smoke free home although I have no way of knowing what they may have been exposed to during their long lives.
