Many of the bases have been spruced up with waxed patina finishes in shades of brown, bronze & gold. These stand will hold several necklaces, bracelets & rings & can be used in the bedroom, bathroom, dressing room or upscale shop displays. The arms & components are all made of finished brass and/or nickel finishes. Brass naturally does not rust; raw brass allows for natural oxidation to take place. As the metal ages, it darkens & develops that distinct patina & beautiful characternatural aging process, a natural tarnish that will occur over time. Both materials will need periodic cleaning with a polishing cloth, just like your jewelry does. The arms will be unscrewed for safe shipping & are easily reassembled & tightened. Due to the size & delicacy of these antique & vintage beauties, special handling, oversized packing & additional padding are required.
