This is made in USA by Wcm This clamp is CNC machined out of 6061 aluminum for a tight tolerance fit, we generally only have about .003 of clearance for better holding power. This clamp is a must for fork & shock rebuilds. This clamp fits tons of FOx , Rockshox, Manitou, DVO forks & rear shocks & forks.. Please see that it fits your application. These are .630 thick Aluminum is superior to the plastic versions in that it has better holding power (plastic ones struggle to hold tight enough on smaller hole sizes). Also these have rigidity to extend out past the vise for more room. Plastic loses holding power quick once they are past the vise jaw. Plus plastic melts, if you have to heat up parts it's just an added hassle.
