This fabulous navy blue raffia & netting overlay hat is trimmed out with a navy fabric surround & front bow accent. It is so "Mrs. Maisel" & is in very good vintage condition. The front blue blow is embellished with a rhinestone grape cluster accent & the blue fabric surround has a scallop like design. The hat has a real "top hat" appearance when worn, as it "sets" on the head & was probably worn with many hair pins in its day. The hat measures 8" wide from side to side, 8 1/2" deep from front to back on the bottom & is 4 3/4" tall from top to bottom at the front. The interior of the hat where it sets on the head, measures 22" around in circumference. There is a small rim at the front of the hat, but not at the back. The raffia is in great condition in a rich navy blue color. The top netting is permanently affixed & attached at the back of the hat top. The netting has small puffs of feather like rounds throughout the netting. The bow at the front measures 7" wide by 1" tall & is a finely ridged faille fabric. The interior of the cap has the original "United Hatters & Milliner Workers", Made in USA label. This mid century ladies pill box hat is feminine, elegant & in a rich navy blue color.
