Description
I hand made this copper box, giving it a lovely green patina. I then added tiny copper birds, flame colored & riveted in place, one for each of the first 6 days of the week. The 7th day is sterling silver, standing for Shabbat! All the birds sit on a vertical branch, uniting the shape. the branch terminates at the top with the Hebrew letter Shin, standing for Shalom (peace) & Shadai, one of God's other names. The box is 3.5" tall, not including the loops, 1/2" deep & 1" wide. It is all lacquered & waxed to preserve the finishes. This mezuzah case does not come with a scroll.
