This ring was designed after bird bands that are used to keep track of individual birds, scientists put aluminum or colored bands on bird's legs. Similar to a license plate on a car, each band engraved with a unique set of numbers sometimes along with the name of who banded them. Width measures: 1/2" They are perfect to wear as a wedding ring! They usually say something like, "Banded by (spouse's name) (Where they were married) (the date they were married)" But as with most of my jewelry the inscription & design are open for your new customization ideas.
