Looking to give your place a cool touch of vintage Oakland? Look no further: this reprint of the 1900 bird's-eye view map of Oakland will fit the bill. Besides the typical features of panorama maps from the turn of the century, this map features illustrations/photos of notable buildings from that time period. We have four sizes available: 24x16" 30x20" 36x24" 45x30". The smallest size works best as a decor piece where wall space is at a premium, while the largest size is intended to deliver a dramatic impact to a room's look. Our reprint is available in the original vintage colors or in stylish inverted blue or inverted black versions that give any room a chic look. The inverted versions have a slight dusty-grungy feel to them. However, we definitely recommend measuring your intended wall first, due to the cost of the fine art paper & amount of the ink involved we cannot offer refunds or exchanges for the wrong size chosen. (We do, however, offer refunds & exchanges for post office damage. Please see our shop policies for more details.) Our reprint is adapted from the Library of Congress's copy of the map. We've made digital corrections where it made sense, but the original map did have some damage. We aren't able to offer framed/matted prints, but we recommend checking your local art/craft supply store and/or the following websites: www.craigframes.com or arttoframe.com. Craig Frames also has an Etsy storefront. We print on Aurora Fine Art with archival inks. The paper has a nice, slight watercolor paper texture feel to it.
