Oil Painting on Canvas with Heavy multi layered frames in walnut wood. Attributed to member of the Whitfield Family of Franklinton NC a number of which were teachers, artist & potters. The painting including frame is 19x15 inches with the stretched canvas at 16x12. inches. With Consideration for other items in the estate this painting is attributed to the 40's -50's era in creation. This painting comes from an old estate sale in N. C. & is in excellent condition.
