Welcome to MidModMomStore https://midmodmomstore.etsy.com This stunning cast & wrought Art Deco candlestick was designed by German architect Richard Muller for K.M. SEIFERT & CO, circa 1900. A circular lobed base is pierced at the centre from which rise three spiraling stems. These join at the top where each stem bifurcates & joins again to form a calyx containing the candle holder. British Museum's catalog description. This particular example of Muller's design differs from other examples in two aspects. One, this candlestick is made out of pewter, not brass. Two, this candlestick is larger than other examples I have seen. Original examples were not marked either, so I'm baffled. Priced accordingly. in very good vintage condition with slight patina to the metal & some wax residue inside the holder. Please look at all the pictures to get an accurate idea of condition. Measures 7 1/2 " in diameter at the base, 16 1/4" tall, fits 3/4" candles.
