This strange double eye ashtray is part of the wilton products that made bottle openers ( I think) . They made the double eye bottle openers but I have never seen the ashtray. From what I understand "Seeing double he is a warning against overindulgence in alcohol or tobacco " It is an unnamed source but the theory seems to fit. This is handpainted & rusty but so bizarre!
