Description
This listing is for a gorgeous fused glass cross made of crushed glass (called frit) in purple & pink tones. The colorful frit mixture was gently placed in a cross-shaped mold & then encased in clear frit & fired in a kiln. Once fired, the cross was then mounted on a piece of white sheet glass, more frit mixture was arranged on top of the sheet glass & the entire piece was fired once more in the kiln. There is lots of texture to this piece as the frit & the cross itself are raised above the surface of the white mounting glass. The cross measures approximately 1 1/4" long & the white glass it is mounted on is approximately 2"x1". Once completed, I mounted the white sheet glass onto the glass of a 3"x4" white table frame with a 1 3/4" by 2 3/4" opening. This frame is a great way to display your fused glass cross year-round. It is shown with a light purple background color & I'm including 3 additional color backings you can use to change the look of your framed glass cross from season to season & room to room!
