Lovely Red Mark RS Prussia 2 handled covered sugar bowl. This would be a pedestal mold. The piece has the Red Mark RS Prussia wreath mark on the bottom. This sugar bowl is unique as it is with the fruit decoration, which is quite uncommon to see. The fruits include cherries, peach & apple. The piece is also decorated with the typical green shadow flowers & pink roses. The front of the bowl has the fruit decoration & the back side has a single pink rose with greenery. There is gold trim on the handles, outlining the top of the bowl & also outlining the bottom rim. This sugar bowl measures 3 inches tall to the opening rim - 4 1/2 tall including the finial. The base measures 3 inches wide & the width including the handles is 6 inches. Measuring width across the area without the handles is 3 1/2 across. Condition: Heavy wear to the gold on the handles. Also, gold loss around the bottom & top edges. There is one chip on this piece (I have circled & pointed it out in a few photos) The chip is at the top point on the back side (side with the rose decor). I see no other damage to this piece.
