This fabric is 36 inches wide & is sold by the yard. Orders of more than a yard will come as one continuous piece. It weighs approximately 9 ounces per yard. It was hand woven in the highlands of Guatemala. It is 100% cotton. It would make an excellent ring sling or baby wrap. It is about the weight of canvas, but so much more softer & supple. It is gorgeous. The art of weaving is handed down through the generations in the Mayan villages. It is truly an art.
