This is a wonderful replica of an old New York City Fire Department alarm box key! This bottle opener It is a solid barrel type key & measures 4" long. It is the key that NYC firefighters use even to this day, to reset the alarm box after it is pulled. It is a maltese cross stamped "F.D.N.Y" on one side & "Gettin Salty Co" on the other side (Just like the original key you see below). This key patina is in old brass & looks like its been hanging on the rig for years. It is not operable in any of the current NYC pull boxes & is being sold as a a beer opener :).
