This is what I believe to be a lovely Victorian sterling silver round pin that is just so detailed & lovely. The center portion depicts two leaves with a small acorn. I believe this is a mourning brooch. Mourning jewelry was popular during the Victorian era. The mourning customs varied according to status, generally they were very detailedwomen had to wear all black for a designated period of time & were restricted in what they could do socially after the loss of a loved. The brooch is missing the back glass. Some patina on it. Not marked, but tested as sterling silver.
