America has always had a love affair with trains; they meant travel, adventure, romance, freedom! & in th 1940s These amazing travel posters of paintings by Leslie Ragan for the New York Central modern & exotic trains only helped to increase their allure & myth. I have been collecting vintage images for years, drawn by their beauty & versatility. For the first time this year, I have decided to share a few of them here on Etsy, wanting others to have the pleasure of enjoying them, so many forgotten, all of them unique & beautiful. Cards come as collections of 8 in a kraft paper box with clear sliding top for easy storage. They are individually hand-printed here in my studio in Hudson, NY. They measure 4.25"x 5.5" & come with envelopes. $24. for 8 cards. There are 2 cards of each image. Artist: Leslie Ragan Personalized message upon request, with a small additional fee.
