Calvaire, Inc., founded in New York by Rachel Calish & Stella Aronson in the 1920s, initially focused on jewelry manufactured abroad for their business. During WWII, production moved to the United States. Jewelry historian debate if Calvaire ceased production in the late 50's or early 60's. Calvaire jewelry is hard to find today & remains highly collectable today.
