"El Maestro", Pedro Albizu Campos was an attorney, politician, social activist & president of Puerto Rican Nationalist Party.Pedro Albizu, known as "el maestro", was a fierce advocate for Puerto Rican independence. My intention was to capture Albizu's intensity but also his compassion. I wanted it to speak to his bravery & persistence. His struggle was admirable & he showed us what a brave & proud Boricua is.
