Ferris Wax Tube is a carving wax extruded & pre-formed to a solid tube ring shape used for making models to be reproduced by lost wax casting. This carving wax ring blank is used by wax designers & master carvers by sawing, filing, & carving round ring designs. Each wax tube is individually packaged in a clear plastic container with a FERRIS Instruction sheet. FERRIS FILE-A-WAX® WAX - WAX COLOR HARDNESS GRADES HARD-GREEN - The hardest & stiffest File-A-Wax, it resists flexing & is perfect for your most detailed carvings. MEDIUM-PURPLE - A regular grade ideal for general purpose carving where moderate flexibility is required. REGULAR-BLUE - The softest grade is formulated for outstanding flexible strength. The Blue carving wax can be carved into the thinnest of sections, while still preserving excellent detail.
