Vintage Very Rare 1916 E. S. BARNSLEY & Co. Fine Edwardian Art Nouveau Lobed Sterling Silver Sauce Boat With Lid/Spoon in great antique condition. This listing is a very rare sauce boat with aquatrefoil lobed form with domed belly & reeded rim. Set on 4 stylised paw feet with layered lobed terminals in similar quatrefoil shape & an organic shaped raised handle with split strap with trefoil shape terminals & concave thumb rest. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1916, makers E. S. Barnsley & Co. (Edward Souter Barnsley). A registration design number also stamped on the inside of the lid. This is truly a very rare find & a great piece of history to add to your most treasured collection. Measures appx 3 1/2" long, 1 7/8"wide 2" at its tallest.
