This adorable Doctor Seuss/ Cat in the Hat lamp fearures a lamp shade depicting various Dr Seuss characters, then appliqued with additional cotton fabric depictions of the Seuss characters. Each one of these Shades will be slightly different depending on the Seus characters on that particular cut of fabric that I used to make the shade. The shade fits on any lamp base, sitting on the socket above the light bulb on a suspended ring. The shade itself measures seven & a half inches high by 10 inches wide & fits a base up to 12 in in height. The shade can be purchased alone, or with the lamp base. The assembled lamp offered is 15 & 1/2 in tall. The hand-painted & sealed base offered is white. What a delightful gift this would be for any child who loves Dr seuss.
