Description

This listing is for a Danish .826 Silver floral pattern Gravy Ladle. It was made by the famous silversmith Carl M Cohr of Fredericia. The 3 tower hallmark on this piece is marked 27 so this piece probably dates from 1927. The assayer's mark is for Christian F Heise (1904-1932). The 3 tower mark also guarantees this piece is at least .826 silver & was made in Denmark. The ladle measure 7 1/2" long by 3 1/4" across the bowl with spouts on both sides. There are no dents in the bowl, no wear on the edges, nicely shaped handle, no bending or nicks. It does have a P monogrammed on the top of the backside of the handle. It also weighs a hefty 72.6 grams or 2.34 ozt. The pattern is sharp with lots of shine....this is a really beautiful hand made piece with a lovely traditional Danish design in excellent condition. Scratching is very light. This is a beautiful piece that would be great to add to any collection. I am pricing it very reasonably, especially for a piece in such beautiful condition. Please be sure to check out my other listings for more sterling serving pieces. Please excuse the brown lines & pink cast to some of my pictures....all the pieces are polished & ready to use....the lines & spots were caused by the beams in my ceiling reflecting on the surface of the silver. https://www.etsy.com/your/shops/TheCalamityHouse/sections/15129439 If you have any questions please contact me.
