Vintage Crawling Baby doll by Sears, in the original box. Baby has been tested & WORKS! The mechanics are a bit loud & the crawl is slow - as expected in a vintage toy. Requires 2 D batteries. Batteries are not included. Make sure you read the instructions on the silver tag before operating baby. The baby is 16" tall. She has a rubber, hand painted face & rubber hands. She has a plastic & metal skeleton. She is wearing yellow pajamas, hat, & a pink bib. There is an on/off switch on her belly, with the battery compartment beside it. You can see in the photos that the battery compartment is free of any corrosion. When you squeeze the baby, it squeaks! Baby is in great condition! Box has a few tears in the cardboard but is in overall good condition. Made in Japan. Intended as a collectible. Use your discretion if giving to a child.
