Pearls & Jade Pothos, or Epipremnum Pearls & Jade, is an amazing vine houseplant, the coloring & size of leaves of which differs from other pothos plants. The coloring consists of spots of white, green & grayish shades. It is noteworthy that it is not possible to find the same leaves on one plant. There are some longitudinal white stripes on the green stems of plant. Growing conditions: - lighting: Pearls & Jade Pothos needs good lighting, since due to a lack of light, its leaves can lose their brightness. But its leaves do not tolerate direct sunlight, they can become droopy, soft & become dull, after a while they completely fall off. - watering: water Pearls & Jade Pothos only when the topsoil slightly dries on the top. Due to the waterlogged soil, some drops can appear on the back side of the leaves. Use only settled water for watering the plant. - fertilizing: feeding is necessary twice a month from April through September. It is best to use special balanced mineral fertilizer for vine plants or compound mineral fertilizer for houseplants. - nuances: Pearls & Jade Pothos, as all pothos plants, prefers high level of air humidity, that's why it is recommended to spray the foliage occasionally with settled water. As for temperature range it can grow with usual room temperature, but not less than 60 oF. Protect the plant from drafts or sudden change of temperatures. Pearls & Jade Pothos needs to be repotted only when the pot is too tight for the roots. Young plants are repotted annually, but older ones need to be repotted once in 2-3 years. The most suitable time for repotting is April. The plant does not need too big pot, use the pot a few inches bigger than the previous one.
