Greek fishing boat painting is a lovely vintage piece by an Athenian folk artist, E. Kokori, who only still paints on reclaimed pieces of wood, salvaged from old furniture usually.She made this in the early nineties, although she had started painted sometime in the early eighties.She has sometimes painted the same theme repeatedly, but on a new, different piece of wood & it never looked the same. After working with this aritst for a long time, she decided to let us have some of her vintage pieces in our e - shop.This painting is on a tattered piece of wood, with a deep rut, somewhere below the middle. On it the folk artist painted a fishing boat, out in the open sea, gathering her nets, full of octapus, shrimp, dorado, etc. & lots of sea birds in the sky.The colours are bright & lively, there is red & blue, lime, orange, faded turquoise, black, brown yellow, etc.A completely unique, Greek, art brute painting. This fishing boat painting measures about 20 cm x 13 cm (7.87'' x 5.11'' ) & it quite light.
