We are offering a RARE antique Victorian fashion cane with a sterling silver golf ball top attributed to Thomas F Brogan. The cane is made of stained bamboo and, with the top, measures about 34.5". This piece was most likely used by a person who enjoyed sporting, especially golfing, and/ or was a member of a country club. Whether for a collector of Victorian Sporting memorabilia! Rare golfing antique. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection. The top is marked "Sterling" with a star, the mark of silver manufacturer Thomas F Brogan, & "68 F". Possibly made in 1868. Very good condition with some damage along the grain of the bamboo & some wear to the detailing of the top.
