This Sacramento, Calfiornia map is from my new series of Modern City maps designed from scratch. Using mapping software, I develop the basic map, & then apply my design style & print using the same process as my vintage prints. The map has a minimal feel with bold lines for the major roads & a subtle street grid & topography in light gray in the background. Like all of my prints, these are beautifully printed on 100% cotton archival watercolor paper in my LA-based studio.
