Vintage Singer 402G Zig-Zag Sewing Machine for Treadle made in 1954 in Germany This is the "Unicorn" of the 400 series !! An extremely rare item. Only for treadle. She's not converted to treadle, she's originally made for treadle. You can tell by the belt guard / fender at the right side. The cable is for powering the light. She works with both 110V & 220V. She needs a treadle cut out a bit longer than the older black SINGERs. Dimensions approx: 17.8cm (standard) x 42cm (longer than usual) (See photo #6 of the listing) She can also stand on a flat table top, hence the 4 rubber feet. ZigZag with slant shank provides a better access & unobstructed view to the feet & needle area. Thoroughly Restored, Detailed & Serviced. Ready to sew just right out of the box !
