Description
1940s dress. Black rayon crepe fabric. Short sleeves. Asymmetrical flaps over the bust & hips each have four flaps with glass beads on the edges. Fastens with a metal zipper in the back & on the side. No belt. Label reads, "Lisbeth Fashions trademark." Freshly dry cleaned. Very good condition. There are small pinholes on the front right shoulder (see last photo) & two on the back left shoulder There is also one pinhole in the middle of the back & two in the back of the skirt. All extremely minor. I have lightened the photos to try to better show details & I clipped the dress to better fit my mannequin that was too small for the dress. (see next to last photo of dress unclipped) Measurements: Shoulders = 16" Bust = 38" Waist = 29" Hips = 38" Sleeve = 6" Length from top of shoulder to waist = 17" Length from waist to hem = 31" Circumference = 48" All measurements are taken with the garment flat, doubled for the bust (chest), waist, hips, & circumference.
