This frame is quite old, probably from the 1800s period, possibly earlier, & it is solid wood with interesting filigree in the corners. The frame measures about 18 3/4" long by 15 1/2" high by 2 3/8" deep. The inside opening measures about 14 1/16" by 11 1/8" so it can accept your art board or canvas or photo that measures 14" by 11". in fair condition, missing a small part of one corner embellishment (please see photos 4 & 7), heavy wear on the perimeter & corners, & the kind of wear & dings & dents & small imperfections you would expect from something more than 100 years old. Old wood with classical or neoclassical design, with almost rococo influences. The corners are tight & the frame has good structural integrity. It weighs about 4 pounds.
