Description
This solid copper tea kettle is round & squatty with a wide brass swivel handle & a wood knob on the lid. It is marked ODI MADE in TAIWAN SOLID COPPER on one side of the handle. It is WATERTIGHT. These teakettles make great planters for fresh or faux flowers if you are hesitant to use for tea. It measures 8" tall to the top of the handle. It is 4 1/2" tall to the knob on the lid. It is 10" long including the spout. It is 8 1/2" wide. The bottom diameter is 6 1/2". The handle is 3/4" wide. The spout is 2" long. CONDITION The kettle is in very nice vintage condition with a pretty aged patina. It is WATERTIGHT. There are dark spots & verdigris on the lid. The inside is tin lined with oxidation & spots of wear. The lid is bent up in one spot (see picture). Vintage Copper Tea Kettle Odi Made in Taiwan
