This stunning bowl by acclaimed potter Gay Schempp is absolutely exquisite! It has a gorgeous design & a striking, slightly iridescent, glaze. Its main color would best be described as a metallic brown, with accents of grayish white, bluish black, & brick red. This beautiful collectible piece measures approximately 4 inches high & 8.25 inches in diameter. It is in very good vintage condition & has just one tiny manufacturing defect to the glaze, which is not normally noticeable when displayed. Pieces by this artist are hard to find & extremely memorable! The vibe of this piece is a combination of mid century & Asian.
