Vintage Gerold-Porzellan Bavaria Hand-Painted Porcelain Pendant, Image of a Woman in Native Folk Outfit, Signed "M Zeigler," Style #7640 This pendant measures approximately 2.35 x 3.15 inches. The pendant is signed on the front "M Ziegler." On the back is the stamp from the maker, "Gerold-Porzellan Bavaria, Made in W. Germany." The reverse side also has a style number, "7640." This is a very unusual & very interesting pendant (or possibly an ornament. The piece has a bit of an irregular shape. It has the painted bust image of a young, pretty dark haired woman who is wearing a native folk outfit. The pendant is signed in the lower right corner. The reverse side has the stamp of Gerold-Porzellan. This pendant hangs from a beaded necklace that is approximately 20 inches long. I'm not sure what the beads are made of, but they have a coral color. The clasp is a scew on barrel closure.
