Arranging flowers is a breeze with this 6 hole flower frog! Easily place the flowers in the 1/2 inch holes to allow the flowers to be upright & in place. Children love to help & with this handy item they always have success! fits a regular mason jar. The flower frog is great for plant propigation too! Just fill the jar completely with water, top with the flower frog & place sprigs or stems in the holes. Be sure to check the water level frequently to be sure the stem is submerged in the water. Violets & ivy are especially easy to root this way. Be patient, it takes several weeks. These flower frogs are slab built by me using stoneware clay. I form them & when leather hard I apply the underglaze flower design. after the first firing they are glazed with a clear glaze & fired again to 2232 degrees. I make all of my own glazes which are food safe & lead free. Dimensions: 3 3/4 inches wide, 1/2 " high, 6 holes each a little less than a 1/2" Handmade in my studio in Mahomet, Illinois.
