These are high quality Loblolly pine seedlings grown in container trays, not bare root seedlings so they can be planted year round, no dormancy required. They are grown from improved seed stock & certified disease free. The advantages of containerized seedling plugs are: easy to plant with a shovel or a 1.6 inch drill auger in your cordless drill (see my shop listing to have one shipped with your order), better survival than bare root seedlings, more drought resistant, & faster initial growth rate. Average size tree is 16 inches tall including the root plug which is 6 X 1.6 inches. These loblolly are the fastest growing pine for shade trees , for a privacy barrier fence, or to fill an empty lot. Shipped in a sturdy recycled cardboard box lined with a biodegradable plastic bag, all eco friendly materials. Detailed planting instructions included with each order.
