Surreal Hidden Face in Fruit Bowl - Black Canvas Handbag 1970s - Optical Illusion of note these style of bags were made from kits by hand & it appears the original maker did not attach the lid evenly & we believe it would be difficult to straighten out the flap - I've enjoyed the bag for display rather than use. Preowned. Overall, the bag is in very good vintage condition. Original jewels, braid & fruit appliques. I believe a couple of small circular silver sequins may be missing. The bottom is wood & the strap is plastic & the clasps at the end look like metal or brass with a little tarnish on the rings. There is a double pocket pouch, of which one has a full functioning zipper. The pivoting latch for the lid cover of the purse works perfectly as well.
