Dewey & Bricker - Vintage Button. Thomas Edmund Dewey was an American lawyer, prosecutor & politician. Dewey served as the 47th governor of New York from 1943 to 1954. in 1944, he was the Republican Party's nominee for the presidency, but lost the election to incumbent Franklin D. Roosevelt in the closest of Roosevelt's four presidential elections. The button is simple, white background which reads 'Dewey & Bricker' in blue. There is a union bug mark on the back, & the edge is marked with the maker's marking 'G. H. Stamp Works Aberdeen, WA'. Vintage campaign pin from, the presidential race in 1944.
