Multi-resolution elevation datasets; Digital Elevation Models (DEM) coverage of Earth is used as bare earth to create these maps. Mainly SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) data is processed & rendered based on its elevation profile. -A map of any place in the world you want can be produced.
