This is a nice size to wear, both measuring around 1 1/4 inches. Note the enameled accents on the background of the crucifix. Chest crosses "Crucifixion of Christ" were produced in big quantities in 17th through 19th centuries Russia. They were made in different sizes: for boys & girls, men & women. Pectoral crosses of closed shape were worn by the Old Believers or Old Ritualists.
