Here is a new set of Flying Pelicans together flying to the right...They can also be carved flying left as you view them on the wall. Richard Vest, California Wildlife artist offers this pair as a great wall carving for the sea themed home or if you are into Pelicans as the artist is. The pieces displayed as in the photo, fit into a space about 37" in height by 45" across with the wings coming out from the wall about 7"... The artist utilizes white staining & lacquer finish. The bird is Alder wood, beak mahogany; two different wood for a neat effect. Steel hooks on the back make the pieces ready to hang. Each is an original carving, signed & dated for indoor display only. The approximate measurements on the bird at left in the photo is 24" x 31" across wingspan & the second pelican measures about 26" x 37" across the wingspan. The are two great pelicans & can be displayed many ways together on the wall. If the work is completed at the time an order comes in shipment occurs in 3-5 days. If the pieces are in progress or carved for th order, please allow 2-5 weeks for delivery. Richard ships via UPS ground insured constructing a strong box assuring safe delivery of your pelicans.
