Kubb or "Viking Chess" is an exceptional fun yard game for all ages & skill levels. It is quickly gaining popularity in the United States because of its wonderful mix of throwing skill, strategy, & luck. Kubb is easy to learn & can be played with 2-12 players to accommodate large or small gatherings. Our Kubb game is made out of Ash & Purple Heart. Both being durable hardwoods with Ash being commonly used in wooden baseball bats. Waterproof exterior glue is used to join the wood laminates & a natural finish of Danish oil is used to finish. The oil penetrates the wood & offers a durable finish even after dents & nicks are incurred after many years of yard game battles. This handcrafted set will be the envy of any yard game enthusiasts & looks as beautiful as it is functional. Our Kubb games are official size according to the U.S. National Kubb Championship Rules. The King is 9 7/8" high x 3 1/4" wide, the Kubbs are 5 7/8" high x 2 3/4" wide, & the Batons are 11 7/8" long x 1 3/4" diameter. The Kubb Set includes 1 King, 10 Kubbs, 6 Throwing Batons, & 6 Boundary Stakes. Included is a canvas zipper tote bag, game directions & setup rope for the boundary.
