This is a sweet wooden night light with the nursery rhyme theme of Hey Diddle Diddle. The Irmi company created many beautiful hand painted, wooden nursery items such as lights, switchplates, plaques, mobiles & more which were produced from 1950's - 1970's. Irmi also went by the names of Nursery Originals or Nursery Plastics. Marked Nursery Plastics & stamped with the date of March 29, 1968 on the bottom. Condition: Remarkably good condition for age. Looks as if it were hardly used. Works with a standard base lightbulb as shown in the photos. Just needs you to add the clip-on shade of your choice.
