Great real photo postcard of the building of the J.J. Smith School in Enumclaw, Washington in 1911. The school is almost complete but not quite. The J. J. Smith School, named after the highly regarded Enumclaw doctor & state senator, was built in 1910. The all-grades school was a three-story brick building with nineteen classrooms & an auditorium. The school was torn down in 1957 & replaced with a second J. J. Smith School, a one-level elementary. Condition: This is an authentic antique postcard not a reproduction. Some aging & slight wear to the edges & corners. Written, stamped & posted. Please see photos.
