Valentine's day is one of my favorite holidays. Because it celebrates love...all kinds of love. & what better than that in a world where there seems to be a shortage of it....I love sending cards to friends, family, co-workers, neighbors. We all need a little lift right now:) I have been collecting vintage images for years, drawn by their beauty & versatility. For the first time this year, I have decided to share a few of them here on Etsy, wanting others to have the pleasure of enjoying them, so many forgotten, all of them unique & beautiful. So much humanity & humor in many of them. There is something so simple & sincere in these greetings from decades ago. This is an individual notecard with Envelope, blank inside, for $4.75 + Postage. (Cards also come as collections of 8 in a kraft paper box , offered in a separate listing) They are individually hand-printed here in my studio in Hudson, NY. They measure 4.25"x 5.5" & come with envelopes. Artist: Andre Wilquin (1889-2000) The watermark will not appear on your card:) The inside of the cards are blank.
