These shapes are cut on either 1-8" or 1-4" High Density Fiberboard (HDF). This is similar to MDF except our wood is double-refined, highly pressed wood & is MOISTURE-RESISTANT! Because the way our wood is processed, it gives the material a smooth finish which is perfect for painting. Little sanding is required for preparation. Once painted, we recommend you give your piece a spray of clear or some type of sealant. This is only recommended if you are displaying outdoors.
