Welcome to my Junkgle. It gets better here every day! Good spot! You found this trusty old Bates 550 stapler. It was made in Orange, New Jersey by Bates Mfg Co. It has a bright turquoise/blue body with a black cap & chrome innards. It has an Equitable logo on the top. It is about 7.5" long with a 4.25" throat to the staple emergence point. It is overall in great cosmetic condition. It has superficial wear & some light scratching, mostly on the foot. The bottom of the hinge end has a little corrosion along the edge. The rubberized feet have some wear but are sturdy & solidly attached. It is functionally in very good condition. Thanks for taking a stroll through JustinsJunkgle! This item, like most of the items i have for sale, besides my original creations, came to me as rescues. I do not know their history, but i try to get to know them well before I find them a home. I give them cleanings when necessary & i'm able, but there may be more to touch up depending on the item and/ or your taste.
